As most of you already know, our Epee team has been taking names in the past couple weeks. Winning medals and a trophy at USF, and very recently, earning a ranking. Congratulations to Jacob Marmitt, for earning his C at the Gateway Epee Circuit! We are all very excited abou this achievement. You can find the results on askfred.net once they are available.

It's Just a Fleche Wound Tournament

We had such a great turn out for set up / take down at the Europa Sports Expo's "It's Just a Fleche Wound" tournament, and all the help was greatly appreciated. For those who came to help out, thanks a bunch, it means a lot! Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

Also, as you may know, some of us were competing at the Sports expo. Jose Quevedo and Peter Gutierrez both won 3rd place in Senior Mixed Sabre. If you want to see the specifics check out Ask Fred. You can also see a couple photos from the event on our Pictures page.

Holiday Grinder Medalists!

Happy New Year! I have some old news, but I figured I should put on the site. Early last month was the Holiday Grinder tournament, and I am pleased to announce that Jose Quevedo and Gustav Kalkinushkayev came out as medalists. Gustav won silver at mixed foil, and Jose won gold and got his E1 ranking at the mixed sabre event, along with winning bronze and getting an E1 in mixed foil.

Where are all the old updates?

So I was updating the site and the "News" page exploded on me, I ended up loosing a lot of our old updates, but no worries, we don't really need those, and I'm in the process of putting the new stuff back up. If anyone notices anything I've missed and feels it should be here though contact me, the webnovice at fencingknights@hotmail.com and put "website edit" in the subject line.

New Site Launched!

Part One:
After a little bit of tweaking and scouring the web for awesome imagery and layouts, the Fencing Knights at UCF have debuted a new site! Hopefully, this will allow visitors to more easily find what they need and encourage new fencers to join our club. For any comments or suggestions about the new site, contact the webmaster.

Part Two:
Our former Vice President recently made a very nice site for the club, unfortunatley, we soon needed a new place to host the site. We could've just re-uploaded the site we had, but we have an officer who gets too bored if he's not making something, thus an new site is born! Hopefully this site will help you get any information you need on The Fencing Knights at UCF! If you have any complaints, yell at this guy.

Congratulations to Meagan Harwell who tied for third place and earned her 'E' rating in the Senior Women's Foil event at the 2008 Bankuti Challenge!
